Subspecialties at Jewett Orthopaedic Clinic: Joint Replacement

Joint Replacement

A population that is growing older and staying more active has led to a great increase in the need for joint replacement surgeries. Jewett physicians performed some of Central Florida's first joint replacement procedures back in the 1970s, and throughout the years, have led the way in developing new and better techniques. Our skilled physicians now perform total joint replacement of all appropriate joints, most commonly hips, knees and shoulders.

We perform total joint replacement of all appropriate joints, most commonly hips, knees and shoulders, including surgery for:

  • All forms of joint arthritis (osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, post traumatic, etc.)
  • Joint fractures
  • Joint deformities
  • Avascular necrosis
  • Painful prosthesis
  • Failure of previous joint surgery
  • Simple and complex revision of total joint replacement
