Overview

Thomas D. Riley IV, MD, joined Jewett Orthopaedic via Florida Hospital from the Miami Sports Medicine Institute in Coral Gables, where he undertook an advanced fellowship in orthopaedic sports medicine and had the opportunity to provide team medical services to the Miami Dolphins and Miami Heat along with other local sports teams. After completing his undergraduate education at Villanova University, he remained in Philadelphia to earn a Master of Biological Sciences degree from Drexel University followed by his medical degree from Temple University. He next undertook his residency training in orthopaedic surgery at Marshall University in Huntington, WV, earning the title of chief resident in his final year. He is known as a caring, skilled physician whose clinical acumen is matched by his energy, efficiency and compassion.
